Obituary

Cheryl Denise Evans was born on February 16, 1955 to the proud parents of Mattie Lou & Curtis Evans. She was the fourth child of seven children born to this union.

Cheryl was baptized at an early age at North Peoria Church of Christ by Brother A.C. Christman, where, she remained a faithful member until her health began to fail her.

Cheryl attended public school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Tulsa Central High School with the Class of 1973.
After completing high school, she attended Tulsa Technology Center, where she graduated as a Dental Assistance.

Because of her health problems relating to her legs, she was not able to fulfill her dream of being a Dental Assistance. Instead, she then became a Certified Medication Assistance at Mohawk Manor until she became totally disabled.

Cheryl Denise, in her 56th year, surrendered her soul to Jesus on Sunday, October 2, 2011 from her home in Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Evans, a sister, Robin Kay Evans, a nephew, Marc Deyhan Williams, her Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, two step-brothers: Vernon, Jr and Murphy Billups, as well as uncles, aunts and cousins.

The hour of remembrance for her will be on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the All Faith's Chapel in Tulsa. Brother Henry Petree will officiate. Burial will follow in Snake Creek Cemetery at Bixby, Oklahoma.
