IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cheryl Ella
Milton
April 7, 1974 – March 23, 2024
Ms. Cheryl Milton, in her 49th year of life, received her rest on Saturday morning, March 23, 2024.
Cheryl Ella Milton, a beloved daughter of the extraordinary Claudius and Virginia Milton, graced this world with her presence on April 7th, 1974. She was the radiant 5th child in a family of 8, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Oh, how her light shone bright in the world!
Ms. Cheryl's journey began at Carter G Woodson, the Home of the Wildcats, in the historic all black town of Tullahassee, Oklahoma. There, she poured her heart into cheering and gracefully glided across the basketball court. Later, she continued her education at Muskogee public schools, where fate led her to her beloved Tommy Dean Sr.
Their union blossomed and brought forth the most precious gifts - 9 beautiful children, 5 radiant girls and 4 handsome boys. Shanika, Shaneal, Shanae, Shalonda, Shabreal, Tommy Jr., Trenton, Terrell, and Tevin. And now, oh, the joy she found in being a proud grandmother to 36, with more blessings on the horizon!
Cheryl's heart overflowed with love and dedication to serving others. Every task she took on was infused with her unwavering commitment to ensuring perfection. She pampered herself with moments in front of the mirror, reveling in the art of perfecting her hair and makeup – a true reflection of her inner and outer beauty.
Her spirit danced to the beat of its own drum, unhurried and full of grace. Her presence radiated love and kindness, whether she was fulfilling her roles as a daughter, sister, cousin, or friend. Oh, how we miss her infectious laughter and gentle soul.
Cheryl Ella Milton, a beacon of love, an angel in our midst, forever cherished in the hearts of all who were touched by her warmth and light.
She leaves in God's care; her children, Shanika, Shanae, Tommy, Trenton, Shaneal, Terrel, Tevin and Shalonda; her grandchildren; Shabreal, Billy and Bryson, Janae, Adrinae and Jaylanae, Jasbreal and Darnelle, Jamilah, Jace and Elliana, Shamari, Jamari, Jamarion and Ramari, Lia, Marlaina, Alanna and Treyson, Tevin, Jr., Hunter, Olivia, Ti'Arin, Tyrin, Treylen and Tayah, Damiah, Demetrius, Demarion, Dametri, Dabreal and Demontre; along with a caravan of other relatives and many friends.
