Obituary

Cheryl Ann Ridge-Foreman was born November 15, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Bossie N. and Billie A. Burns. Later her mother, Billie, met and married Fullard Foreman, Sr., of Beggs, Oklahoma.

Cheryl grew up in Preston, Oklahoma, where attended Douglas Elementary School and graduated from Preston High School in 1975. She was employed by the Tulsa County Assessor's O ce in June 1975 and retired November 2014 due to adverse health. She received a Legal Secretary certificate from Career Point and also became a Notary. Cheryl married Floyd Brown of Arkansas and briefly assisted raising his two daughters, Latoya and Nicole. Later, she reconnected with Buck Jones, her high school sweetheart, and assisted raising his daughter, Princess.

Cheryl's childhood memories were on the Foreman's farm where she helped her grandparents, the late M. Z. and Florence Foreman. She enjoyed playing basketball, going to games, cooking, gardening, and jamming with Jesus. Cheryl tended to the farm animals especially with her pet pig
named, Ed, whom she would ride like a horse all over the place.

Her "Peachy Keen" personality and love for family was expressed through her love for her nieces and nephews. Cheryl cherished all of them as her very own children. She extended nurturing people past blood connections. She befriended and opened her home to assist a nephew's friend, Jason
George, and his young daughter, Nicole. She was known by many for her baking and cooking skills which included scrumptious butter and
lemon pound cakes and mouthwatering sweet potato pies, oh so delicious.

Cheryl stepped into eternity on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; two brothers, Keith A. and Kenneth W. Foreman, Sr.; uncles, Linley Sr. and Velver Foreman; and one nephew, Major L. Foreman.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her precious memories to her one devoted brother, Fullard "Casey" (Amy); one sister, Cathy Ridge of DFW, TX; one sister-in-law, Teresa Foreman; five nieces, Kennetha, Kendra, Ana, Alexandra, and Kyra Foreman; two nephews, Kenneth Foreman, Jr., and Preven Grant; bonus daughter, Princess Jones; two bonus grandsons; aunts, Beoma Nunley, Beverly Foreman; goddaughter, Alfreda Moore; special sister/friend, Lenetta; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ms. Cheryl Ridge-Foreman, in her 67th year, passed from life to Life Everlasting on Saturday afternoon, January 13, 2024 from Coweta, Oklahoma.

The Sacred Farewell for Cheryl will commence on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Tenth Hour in The All Faiths Chapel of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc,.-Tulsa.
