On December 26, 1967 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma a baby girl was born from the Union of Linda Kay Lewis and Cephus Donald Dyer. They named their daughter Christi Lorraine Dyer.

Christi's earlier years were spent in Okmulgee, Oklahoma prior to Linda and family moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Greeley Elementary, Gilcrease Middle School, and Will Rogers High School. During Christi's earlier life she accepted Christ as her personal Savior, and was baptized in Tulsa. The family later moved to Sacramento, California where Christi received her High school diploma. Christi was a cheerleader and also ran track there in Tulsa.

After high school she received her AA as a Medical Assistant/ Physical Therapist at American River College in California. Following that, she was accepted into Flight Attendant School in Arizona. Christi also worked for CVS Caremark for 11 years. She received several outstanding awards, naming a few; Advanced Medicare Technician, Certificate of Recognition, Certificate of Appreciation.

In 1987 Christi gave birth to her beautiful first born daughter Camreon Dyer and soon afterwards Christi was blessed to bring into this world her second beautiful daughter Chasity Workman. The birth of these two daughters made Christi's Life complete. In the year 2000 Christi experienced the lost of her mother whereby she took the responsibility of raising her little brother and sister. Christi's family had now grown to five. She then realized a need to be closer to her family resources and moved her family to Dallas, Texas. While living in Dallas Christi's health took a turn causing her condition to be challenged. Her daughters living in Miami, Florida convinced to relocate to be with them. While in Miami, Christi decided to explore the world and become an entrepreneur establishing "Kay Lewis Enterprise." Her travels included The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Paris, and London.

Christi was called from labor to reward and eternal rest on November 30 , 2015. She is preceded in death; Mother Linda Kay Lewis, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents and Host of other relatives. She leaves to Honor Her Legacy and Memory; Daughters Camreon Dyer and Chasity Workman ,Miami, Fl; Father Cephus (Blanche) Dyer, Moore, Oklahoma; Brothers Terence (Ginger) Dyer, Jerry Lewis, Andre Johnson, Charles Lewis, Rashune Johnson ,Sacramento, California.; Sister Shaylynn Johnson, Miami, FL; Step- Daughters Dari Hoosman , Nebraska. Darcy Hoosman, Arkansas. Also a special Aunt Cheryl Cooks, along with a host of uncles, aunts, and other relatives.

The Service of Memory for Christi will be on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Saint Matthew Baptist Church. Reverend McKinley Rice will officiate. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.

You may visit her, as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home in Okmulgee on Friday from 12 Noon until 6:00 P.M.
