Mr. Clarence James, Jr., after 70 years with us, left this life on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On July 22, 1950, Clarence and Tempie Lee [McAlester] James, Sr., celebrated the birth of a baby boy in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma.. They named their son after his father, Clarence Jr.

Better known as "Bootney", Mr. James was baptized at an early age and attended the Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting but loved fishing, especially with the Tug and Jugs team with his sons until he became too ill to go.

Clarence Jr., married Freida Maria Spring and from their union, two sons were born, Terry and C.J. He worked for Brockway Glass for many years and was also a Truck Driver.

In his 70th year, Clarence James, Jr., left this life for a life eternal on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings .

He leaves in God's care; his wife Freida Maria James, of the home in Muskogee, Oklahoma; his sons, Terry James and wife Jennifer and C.J. Brian James, all of Muskogee; a daughter, Catina James, Sacramento, California; four grandchildren, Tyonna James, Muskogee, Oklahoma Peyton Piguet, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Christian Palmer, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jerome "J.J." James, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; two very special great-grands, Kingston and Ka'niyah Lax, Muskogee, Oklahoma; his siblings, Donald James, Stonewall, Oklahoma, Helen Beal, Ada, Oklahoma, Abram James, Fittstown, Oklahoma, Gwendolyn James, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anderson James, Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, Kathy James, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Oliver Whitfield, Dallas, Texas; along with other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Ceremony will be shared on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Cole Spur Cemetery, Tuskahoma, Oklahoma.  Reverend Lee Harris will officiate.  Burial will follow.

You may visit Mr. James, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home in Muskogee on Monday from 12 Noon until 6:00 PM.
