Clarice Henderson was born on September 20, 1939 to parents Eugene and Ethel Grant in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She gave her life to Jesus Christ at an early age and was a faithful servant. She was the fourth eldest of six siblings. Her parents, brother Earnest Grant, and sisters LeAsther Matthews and Evelyn Reagan preceded her in death.

The family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1958. Clarice met and married Willie Henderson, a wonderful and faithful husband for thirty three years. Clarice was employed by American Airlines and retired after many years of service.

On October 27, 2015, the Lord called her home to that special place on high. We thank our Heavenly Father for the precious time he allowed us to be with her. We will miss her presence and special laughter at family gatherings. Clarice leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband Willie, her sons Jerry Vinson (Charlene) of Okmulgee, OK, Gregory Bowens Vinson (Debra) of Madill, OK and daughter Peggy Vinson-Cornish of Dallas, TX; sister Barbara Franklin Tulsa, OK; brother Eugene Grant Jr. Tulsa, OK; Willie Henderson Jr. of Washington D.C.; Cassandra White (Henry) of Fort Worth, TX; Karen Simmons (Robin) of Tulsa, OK; Michael Henderson (Gloria) of Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and countless other relatives and friends who will cherish and miss her very much.

Services will held at the North Peoria Church of Christ on Saturday October 31, 2015 at 1pm.

Visitation will be on Friday October 30, 2015 from 12noon until 7pm at our Tulsa Chapel.
