Clifford was born to Henry Patton and Beulah White Patton on April 5, 1928 in Depew, Oklahoma. He attended school in Depew. He left home at an early age. He lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Phoenix, Arizona, Texas and Oakland, California. While living in Oakland, Clifford became a great entrepreneur. He would buy houses, apartment buildings and fix them and rent them out. He accomplished more in his lifetime than anyone with his level of education. He was a great business man, who could take something that looked terrible and turn it into something to be proud of. He was very successful in business and everything he put his hands to. He found the love of his life in a woman named Janet Perry whom became his wife.

His parents, brothers Henry, Earl, Johnnie, Valentine, sisters Ethel, Bernice, Ruthie, and Helen all preceded Mr. Patton in death. Clifford is survived by his faithful attentive and loving wife, Janet Perry Patton, one sister Leontine Tottress, San Diego, CA, his children from previous marriages: Shirley Bella Blakely-Hamilton, Sadona, Arizona, Clifford Patton, Jr. (Denise), Lorraine Patton Fowler (Monroe), both of Oakland, CA, Darlene Snelling (Antioch,CA) and Hertha Moore, (Marlin) Roseville, CA, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, a special nephew like a son, Elvis Patton (Sharon), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

Services for Mr. Clifford Patton will be Thursday August 4, 2016 at 12Noon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Friends may visit Mr. Patton from 1PM until 7PM in the Tulsa Chapel.

Burial will follow the service at North Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa.
