Mr. Clifton D. Bazart, after 81 years, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from Okmulgee.
Mr. Bazart was born in Okmulgee, the son of Clifton and Ezza Ann [House] Bazart on December 10, 1928.
He grew up in Okmulgee, where he attended Uganda Martyr's Catholic School and later, attended Xavier University.
Mr. Bazart served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1947 to 1951. After his service, he worked in Electronics before his retirement.
He was a faithful member of Uganda Martyr's Catholic Church and a member of the DAV.
He leaves to lament his death; his sister, Mable Theresa Bazart, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; a nephew, David Bazart, of Glendale, California; and other relatives, friends and church members.
Funeral Mass will be on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the Uganda Martyr's Catholic Church, with Father Benjamin Vima, the Celebrant. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma at 12 Noon.
The Prayer Vigil will be on Thursday, at 6 PM in the Chapel of Peace at the Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin at 11 AM on Thursday,
