On September 23, 1989, Tracy Martin and Dewayne Harris received the greatest gift ever, Colby J. Harris. Mr. Harris grew up in Tulsa, attending Tulsa Central High School. He was introduced to Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church at a young age, where he was first baptized. Colby was a man of strength, compassion, and trust. His heart was an open door to friends and family in need. Even in his darkest hours, he could always find a good word, and somehow manage that burst of laughter that he will always be remembered for. He will also be remembered as a loving father, brother, and a friend to everyone.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Tracy Martin, father, Dewayne Harris, grandmother, Carolyne C. Martin, grandfather, James P. Martin, brother Ollie Harris, sister T.Cee Tottress, and a son, Jacobe Harris, as well as a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who cared for him deeply. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.

Services for Mr. Harris will be Wednesday May 6, 2009 at 10AM at Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church in Tulsa. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12Noon-7PM.
