"His Story"
On June 6, 1954 in Houston Texas a handsome baby boy was born to Columbus and Mary (Chaney) Jackson, and they name him Columbus T Jackson. After the death of her husband, Mary moved to Okmulgee Oklahoma to make a home for her family.
Columbus attended school in Okmulgee Ok, during his school years his mother died, leaving behind Columbus and his brother Paul.
Their loving Aunt Leonis Chaney took the boys in and cared for them as her own children. Columbus accepted Christ at an early age.
With many complications going on with Columbus's health and seeing the toll it was putting on his family, the decision was made to put him in Okmulgee Terrace, where he could get the care that he needed. Columbus became a friend to all and was well loved and always full of laughter.
