Corinzo was born in Vian, Oklahoma on March 6, 1923, where his mother, Callie Smith lived with her parents, Ben and Elbie Smith. He professed faith in Christ at an early age, was baptized and united with the First Baptist Church in Vian.
Serving his Country...
Corenzo enlisted in the United States Army and served his Country honorably during World War II.
He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing...
In 1941, he met and married Flora Mae Critten. From this union, 10 children were added, for preceding him in death. He worked to provide for his family as a concrete finisher in the construction industry for many years.

On Monday evening, December 3, 2007, Corinzo answered his call from our Heavenly Father, who quietly told him to come home.
Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted," Matthew 5:4...
Mr. Smith leaves to lament his home-going; a mother, Callie Gladney, Muskogee, Oklahoma; three sons, Rev. Larry H. Smith, Sr. [Delores], Corinzo Ben Smith, Jr., all of Muskogee and Benjamin Smith, Sacramento, CA; three daughters, Wyvette Anderson [Walter], Penny Smith and Loraine Smith, all of Muskogee; granchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Gladney [Barbara], Donald Gladney [Dorothy], all of Muskogee and Raymond Gladney [Janice], Kansas City, Missouri; three aunts, Frances Finny, Vian, Oklahoma, Gladys Hood, Camden, New Jersey and Della James, Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Tribute will be on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the Macedonia Baptist Church. Rev. Larry H. Smith, Sr., will officiate. You may visit Mr. Smith, as he slumbers at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM, with a Wake with the family present beginning at 6 PM.
Burial will be on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the National Cemetery at Ft. Gibson with Military Honors.
