Mrs. Corliss Dixon, in her 67th Season traveled to Eternal Rest on Sunday Evening, October 26, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
On February 8, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, a bundle of joy was delivered to the union of Clarence and Cora Dixon. Their bundle of joy was a bouncing baby girl, naming her Corliss Jean Dixon. Corliss was educated in the St. Louis Public School System, and a graduate of Vashon High School. Corliss accepted God at an early age and was a member of the Old Landmark Church in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Hollins.
Corliss was an industrial factory worker at Loose Leaf Devices Company in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a devoted mother and loved her family. Her favorite pastime was watching basketball and movies.
On October 26, 2014, Ms. Corliss Jean Dixon traveled to the Eternal Resting Place. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, three sons: Derek Kent Dixon (Regina Lacy), and Darrin Keith Dixon (Germaine), and Adrian Rogers, aunts: Jean, Frances, Ruby, three sisters: Josephine Trice, Misha Walker, and Evette Famous, three grandchildren: Monet Harris, St. Louis, MO by Geanya Harris, Darrin and Chantell Hill (Dallas, TX) by Rosalind Marshall, Tiffany Dixon (Philadelphia, PA) by Nefva Hankins, two very special nieces: Kellie Nicole Everett (St. Louis, MO), Shelia Bryant Gray (Normandy, MO), and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and close family & friends.
Her services will be Saturday November 1, 2014 at 10AM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa.
