Reflections of Coydell Miller Jr.'s Life

Coydell Miller Jr. was born on June 9, 1960 to Coydell Sr. and Hurldine Miller in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Coydell received his education from the Tulsa Public Schools, and is a proud graduate of McLain High School in 1979.

At an early age he accepted Christ and was baptized at Timothy Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. under Pastor J. C. Gilkey Sr.  Later in 1988 became a charter member of New Heights Christian Center under the leadership of Pastors Terry and Barbara Shannon until his death.  He was a member of NHCC Heralds of praise, trustee, intercessory prayer, janitor, bus driver, and work with the Helping Hands Ministry.  Coydell loved to read the bible and tell others about Jesus.

Later he met and married Billie Foster to this union a daughter was born, Coydella Miller.

Coydell is preceded in death by: his parents, Coydell Sr. & Hurldine (Miller-Walton), step-father Winford Walton, grandparents, five aunts: Justine, Mae Liza, Anne Mae, Dorothy Miller, and Zelma Lowe.  Three uncles: Chester, Columbus, and David Miller.  He leaves to cherish his precious memories one daughter Coydella Miller, four brothers: Willie (Pam) Shannon of Oklahoma City, OK., Terry (Barbara) Shannon of Tulsa, OK., Victor Cornell Miller of Lawton, OK., Chris Miller of Tulsa, OK.  Three sisters Pamela (Sedrick) Titus, Marsha Kay Miller, Sonja (Brian) Debose all of Tulsa, OK.  Three uncles Reverend Hosie Miller of Haskell, OK., Sylvester & Wyatt Mason Jr. of Tulsa, OK.  One Aunt Juanita Jefferson of Tulsa, OK. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
