Obituary

Father Curtis M. Wilson, after 86 seasons, found sweet rest in Glory on June 27, 2006 from Tulsa.

Mr. Wilson lived a full and blessed life. He was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma on February 12, 1920, the 3rd child of Lovely Lee and Alfra Omega Wilson in Jones, Oklahoma. He attended Ewing School in Jones, Oklahoma and Douglas High School in Oklahoma City.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country honorably during World War II in the South Pacific.

He worked hard all of his life; as a chef, a base gunner at Tinker Field in Oklahoma City, as well as working for Oklahoma Steel and Boeing Aircraft.

He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Gilliard Baptist Church in Spencer, Oklahoma, but later was baptized in the name of Jesus at GRace Apostolic Temple.

He was preceded in death by 2 wives; 4 brother, his parents and a great-granddaughter.

He leaves to mourn; his Greater Grace Church family; a daughter, Linda Wilson-Tease; a brother, Charles P. Wilson [Clara], Oklahoma City; a sister, Rosa L. Wilson-Herron; an adopted son, Xavier Walker; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The tribute will be on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at Greater Grace Apostolic Temple in Tulsa. Pastor, Dr. Donald O. Tyler, Sr, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
