Obituary
Mr. Darrell R. Swinton, age 53 and a resident of Muskogee, made his transition from life on Saturday, November 8, 2008 from Muskogee.
Darrell was born to Billy C. Swinton and Lonetta Eggleson in Muskogee on May 14, 1955 and grew up in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended Parkview High School in Little Rock.
He was a skilled automobile mechanic and also worked in the Construction Industry, working for Lindsey Construction, as well as several other building projects in Muskogee.
His hobbies included automobile repair as well as fishing.
Those that remain; his daughter, Shauntae Denise Swinton-Bell and his son-in-law, Christopher Bell; 2 grandsons, Braylon Arbel and Ivria, IV, Little Rock, Arkansas; his parents; along with other relatives and friends.
The Service of Memory will be on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church, 7th & Okmulgee. Dr. Cleo Baccus, Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
You may visit Mr. Swinton, as he slumbers at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon to 6 PM.
