Daryl Keith Logan

January 13, 1963 – July 27, 2026

Daryl Keith Logan, affectionately known by family and friends as “Sweet Papa,” was born on January 13, 1963, to his parents, Elvis Pease Logan and Adolph Frederick Logan.

Daryl attended DuBois School in Summit, Oklahoma and Carter G. Woodson School Tallahassee, Oklahoma, where he played basketball and made many lifelong friendships. He had a deep love for sports, especially basketball and football. Whether cheering for his favorite teams or watching any game that was on, he was always ready to enjoy the excitement of sports.

Throughout his life, Daryl worked as a dedicated laborer in the construction industry. More than anything, Daryl will be remembered for his generous heart. He was the kind of person who would give his last to someone in need and was always willing to lend a helping hand, even when he didn’t have much himself. His kindness, compassion, and selflessness touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Daryl was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patrice Pease; his mother, Elvis Pease Logan; his brother, Alfred D. Logan; his son, Daryl Keith Anderson Logan; and his nephew, Corey Logan.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his father, Adolph Frederick Logan; his sister, Donna Logan; his loving daughters, LaKeya Logan Anderson and Dominique Logan; his beloved grandchildren, Daryl Keith Logan III, Amara Anderson, and London Anderson II; his great-grandchildren, Kennady Anderson-Logan, Daryl Keith IV Anderson-Logan, and Da’Kari King Anderson-Logan; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the love, laughter, wisdom, and memories they shared with him.

Although he is no longer with us in body, the love he gave so freely, the lives he touched, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love him.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Summit. Reverend Milton Colbert, Wichita, Kansas, will officiate.
