David was born on April 3, 1975 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Reverend Howard and Helen Antwine.
Better known as "Little D" by his family and friends, David was baptized at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Okmulgee under the leadership of Reverend David Burks, Jr.
While attended Mount Zion, David was very active in the youth department and the music department as the drummer. He also was the drummer for the Harmonette Gospel Singers of Beggs, Oklahoma.
David attended Beggs Public Schools and enjoyed playing baseball, wrestling, fishing and riding horses.
On Wednesday, April 25, 2007, the Lord solftly and tenderly lifted him up from his earthly slumber and took him home to be with him from the O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He leaves in God's care; his parents, Reverend Howard and Helen Antwine, of the home in Beggs, Oklahoma; his siblings, Marvin & Zonia Antwine, Kiska & Anthony Johnson, all of Beggs, Oklahoma and Denise & Leroy Parker, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; three nieces, Raneeka Parker, Miracle Antwine and Alyssa Antwine; two nephews, Markail Antwine and Caleb Parker; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The Farewell will be on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Rev. David Burks, Jr., Pastor, will officiate and Rev. Howard Antwine will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Beggs Cemetery.
