IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David
Barclow
July 15, 1945 – December 28, 2020
A Visitation for Mr. Barclow will be held on Thursday from 1PM until 6PM inside Biglow's All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa.
David Jackson Barclow was born on July 15, 1945, the first of three boys, to Newell and Elnora Barclow.
David attended school in Tulsa and graduated from Booker T. Washington, class of 1963. He attended Northeastern State College, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his journey through the school system, he excelled in track & field and football through both high school and college.
After college, David became the Parks Director for the city of Tulsa. David later met and married Linda Boulware. David was a car enthusiast. He loved riding around in his yellow corvette looking like "Tweety Bird."
David is preceded in death by his parents, Elnora and Newell Barclow.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Shamel Fields of Tulsa; his grandson, Kortney Smith of Tulsa; two brothers, Ronnie (Bridgette) Barclow and Fredrick Barclow, all of Tulsa, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
Special Thanks to Connie Walker, Gwen Oden, and Linda Boulware Wilson for all of the support and love given during this difficult time.
