The sixth of eight children born from the loving union of Paul L. and Shirley Jean [Jordan] Hall, Sr., arrived in Denver, Colorado on November 9, 1961. He was named David Duwayne Hall. David grew up between Denver and Haskell, Oklahoma and was bestowed cherished nick-names; "David-D", David Duwayne, "Governor", "Tube" and "Uncle D". He graduated from high school in Denver, however.
David was a fun loving soul, who enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and a person that loved all people in general and showed it through community outreach. He made sure that his family knew that he loved them and was always there when they needed him.
He was a gifted builder in his time and was also a skilled mechanic. He loved to teach and show others, especially his young nephews about working on cars. David was also a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching T.V. and of course, drinking ice cold bottled water and pepsi.
In his 52nd season of life, David Duwayne Hall left this life for a life eternal on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from his home in Haskell. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father and a brother, Ricky Kevin Hall.
He leaves in God's care; his sisters, Paulette Walker, Haskell, Sherry Kay Hall, Denver, Colorado and Richelle Hall [James Drew, Sr.], Haskell, Oklahoma; his brothers, Paul Hall, Sr., Denver, Colorado, Rodney [Sheena] Hall, Texas, and Joseph Hall, Sr., Haskell, Oklahoma; along with other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Celebration sharing his loving memory will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Haskell. Pastor Gary McKeen will officiate.
