IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daynottay Torray
Jordan
March 8, 1974 – October 15, 2023
A FALLEN LIMB
A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will
shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes, we're together again." – Author Unknown
Daynottay Torray Jordan (Bink), (49) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was called home to serve the lord in an even greater capacity on October 15th, 2023. Daynottay was the 3rd child of Ruth and Dwight Owens and was born on March 8, 1974, in Youngstown Ohio. From a young age, Daynottay was so full of life and always lit up every room he was in. He had an infectious smile, warm personality and always took a genuine interest in people. So full of energy, he always made it a point to learn new things and share this information with whomever he encountered. John 14: 1-4 tells us that God is The Way, The Truth, and The Life and for our hearts not to be troubled with sadness and despair. Ecclesiastes: 1-8 tells us there is a time for everything, and as we mourn the loss of Daynottay, we find comfort in knowing that it is now his time to take the eternal rest with our lord and savior who has welcomed him into the kingdom of everlasting light. Daynottay is preceded in death by his father Dwight Owens and nephew Jawan Davis. He is survived by his brothers Boyd McClaney, Richard Robinson (Wife Charlene), Ashontay Owens (Wife Cori), and his sister LaKeisha Davis; three nephews, three nieces, and one great niece.
