IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deandre Martel
Hammon
March 15, 1985 – June 18, 2017
On March 15, 1985 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma God blessed Angelar Richardson-Goudeau and Mark Hammon with a precious and rare jewel. They named him DeAndre M. Hammon, affectionately referred to as Dray. He graduated High School from Tulsa School for Science and Technology with the class of 2003. Upon graduation, DeAndre further extended his education by attaining an abundance of certifications to include Business and Massage Therapy. A few of his gifts was writing, drawing and dressing. He especially loved drawing Marvel characters. DeAndre had a keen sense of fashion and had his own style and way of dressing. He possessed an outgoing spirit and an infectious smile that would light up any room he entered. He had a knack for telling you just how it is and still love you in the same sentence.
DeAndre's passion for family, nieces and nephews was one of his most notable characteristics. Although he never bit his tongue, he had a heart of gold that was big as the Nile River. He wanted a fresh start and outlook on life so in August 2015, he moved to Olympia, Washington with his big brother/cousin Jerreko (Reko) Kelley. On June 18, 2017, Heaven gained an angel. DeAndre quietly departed this life and earned his wings with Reko at his side.
He is preceded in death by two Grandfathers to include Lenard Richardson and his Aunt Ulawna B. Freeman. Deandre leaves behind to savor his immeasurable, priceless and precious memory; his mother Angelar Richardson- Goudeau (Ernest) and his Father Mark Hammon. Grandmothers Velma Mass of Tulsa, OK and Linda Jones of Okmulgee, OK. Four Uncles to include Leroy Freeman (Ladonna) of OKC, OK., James Freeman (Willa) of Tulsa, OK. Five Aunts; Delorse Freeman of OKC, OK., Melinda Jones of Okmulgee, OK., Nino Todd of Tulsa, OK and Melva Gaines of Tulsa OK. Brothers Cordalle Hammon, Demarque Hammon and Deonte Hammon all of Tulsa, OK. Sisters Delawna Hammon-Brewer (Timothy) of Minneapolis, MN, Airiel Richardson-Berry (Aron) of St. Paul, MN., Serenity Goudeau and Da'zaney Williams both of Tulsa, OK., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Although he will be greatly missed, Heaven truly gained an angel.
"Life is not promised to any one of us why do we allow others to determine whether or not we are happy? Let's take back control of our own lives and live life to the fullest potential. It's your life. Act like it. I bet if we start to take responsibility for our own actions, we would be better people. Just a random thought".
