Mrs. Deborah Lynn Loggins, in her 76th season of life peacefully surrendered her soul to Jesus on Thursday morning, September 24, 2026 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

On August 18, 1950 a baby girl was born to Mabel Mattie Leaks and Henry Clay Johnson. Their new joy in life was named Deborah Lynn Johnson.

Deborah was reared in church under Dr. Ben Noble at Antioch Baptist Church along with her siblings. She attended public schools and graduated from Moton High School in Taft, where she was in choir and track. 

Deborah was employed at K-Mart for 20 years and later employed with INCOR. She married Tyree Griffin J., r and was blessed with two handsome sons, Tyree Griffin III and Bryant Griffin. They were married for 23 years. 

With her loving personality, Deborah never met a stranger, and she was a pleasure to be around. She enjoyed family gatherings showing off her cooking and baking skills. The Loggins house was the meeting place for family and friends who all knew Thanksgiving and Christmas was very important to her. Deborah never missed giving everyone a Christmas gift, and even if you were visiting, you received a gift. Birthdays were no different. She celebrated those she loved. 

Deborah loved her family, loved life and loved Larry Loggins! Deborah met, and married Larry Loggins, April 2, 1995. They were the love of each other's life. When you saw one, you saw the other. They were known as "Larry and Deborah." It wasn't one name without the other. They were inseparable until his death; June of 2018 and she held that same love until her death. As her health began to slowly fail, she still tried to maintain family functions. Her son, Bryant along with Nicole moved in to be her caretaker. Deborah’s activities stopped but she maintained the same cheerful and loving spirit. 

Loved ones who preceded her in death are her parents, Mabel and Henry Johnson; sisters, Karen Frith and Barbara Johnson; and brother, Thomas Johnson. 

The family she leaves to cherish her memories are her loving and devoted sons, Tyree Griffin III of Frisco, Tx.; and Bryant Griffin (Nicole) of Muskogee. Brothers, Henry Johnson of Muskogee; Michael Johnson of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters, Sharon Livingston of Kansas City, Mo. and Cheryl Livingston of Muskogee, Ok Tina Smith OKC Ok. sister in Laws, Patricia Johnson, Brenda Davison, and Linda Current Muskogee, Ok. A caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Sacred Farewell for Deborah will commence on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 11:30AM in the most holy sanctuary of Antioch, Temple of Hope where Pastor Marlon Coleman will preside.

The Christian Committal will follow at The Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma at 1:30PM.
