Sunday May 20, 1962 at 8:30AM, Deborah Laverne Jackson introduced Audry and Wayne Jackson to one of their greatest joys of their life…Parenthood.
Deborah matriculated through the Tulsa Public School System attending Emerson Elementary, Roosevelt Junior High and graduated from Central High School in May 1980. Her mother asked her if she would like to continue her education and her response was, "I only finished high school to please you."
In July of 1985, she married Darrell Richardson. To this union one son was born, Damiano Darnell Richardson. Deborah accepted Christ and was baptized on January 7, 1996 at Paradise Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Prince Maxwell. Deborah later united with New Degree Praise Center under the leadership of Bishop Q.L. Bell. Deborah was a faithful and active member until her health began to decline.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband Darrel Richardson, father Wayne Travis Jackson, extended siblings, sister Joy Jackson, and brother Terry Jackson.
Surviving family members are son, Damiano Richardson, grandchildren: Damina Richardson, Damyshiana Richardson, extended grandson Antonia Brown, Jr., extended children: Charlie Hubbard, Darrell Hope, Shemisha Turner, mother Audry Jackson, brothers: Keith (Angela) their children: DeKe', Monique, Tulsa, OK., Joseph, Keith Jackson, Jr., Houston, TX., Wayne, his children Wayne Travis, III., Tulsa, OK., Aubry, Phoenix, Tarus Jackson, Kansas City, MO., extended family Malorie Brisco, Kansas City, MO., Clyde Jackson, Tulsa, OK., aunts: Ruthie Johnson, Kansas City, MO., Betty Jo Jackson, Tulsa, OK., Havanna Lasley, Muskogee, OK., cousins: Waynetta Lawrie (William), LuCretia Frazier, Lenitta Stephens, Donciela Dyer (Sam), a special cousin who Deborah shared things with that she wouldn't share with her mom, Darlene Thomas, Topeka, KS., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Deborah Jackson Richardson will be Saturday November 16, 2013 at 11AM at Paradise Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Friends may visit Ms. Richardson on Friday from 12noon until 5PM. A wake will be held in her honor from 5PM until 7PM in the Tulsa All Faiths Chapel
