On January 22, 1959 a bouncing baby boy was born to Goerge and Clarice Ingram in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They named him Delbert Eugene Ingram.

Delbert attended Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from Tulsa Central High School class of 1977.

Delbert had a love for singing and was frequently in talent shows throughout High School. Delbert also had a passion for cooking which inspired him to attend OSU in Okmulgee, receiving his degree in Culinary Arts in 2003. During his time at OSU he met the love of his life Tonya and the two joined in marriage in Oklahoma City on October 21, 2004 of this union two children were born Eva and Delbert Jr. Delbert also has two adult children Marcellus and Shawanda.

Delbert was a giving soul always willing to help anyone even if it was him making you laugh with his jokes or cooking you a good meal. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and will truly be missed.

Delbert is preceded in death by his parents George and Clarice Ingram and brother Calvin Ingram Sr. Delbert leaves to cherish his memory his wife Tonya Ingram, four children; Marcellus, Shawanda (Jeremiah), Eva and Delbert Jr., siblings Charles (Ella), Linda (Will), Pete and Keith; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, one aunt, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

On Friday afternoon, July 16, 2021, Mr. Delbert Ingram made his transition to eternity from Integris Health Hospital in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The Hour of Remembrance for Mr. Ingram will commence on Thursday morning, July 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the All Faiths Chapel.  The Pastor, John Washington will be the officiating minister.

Burial will follow in the Ft. Gibson National cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
