Denise was born to John Adam Walters, Sr. and Emma Mae Craven- Walters on April 20, 1957. She was the eldest of seven children. Denise was Baptized at an early age at First Baptist, Tullahassee.

She attended Carter G. Woodson of Tullahassee Oklahoma where she graduated with the Class of 1975.

In October of 2003, She married Vernell Marshall. She loved her family and her family loved her, and she lived for family gatherings.
She loved cooking and singing in Church, and was always willing to do so if asked. She will surely be missed.

Ms. Denise Marshall, in her 64th year, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in Death and meets at Heaven's gates her 3 sons, Damione Lawone Walters, Patrick Terrell Walters and Andrew Jackson Parker III; her Beautiful Mother, Emma Mae Craven-Walters, her Father, John Adam Walters, Sr. and her Baby Brother, David Russell Walters.

She leaves to mourn her Son, Antonio Jerome Parker of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Her 5 Grandchildren, Andrelle Jasmine Parker, Tamira Lynnae Parker, Terrell Lawone Parker, Antonio Jerome Parker, Jr. and Andrew Jonah Parker; Her Sisters, Jonnita Walters and Tina (Johnny) Gibbs of Wagoner, Renet Rochelle Walters, Tracey Lynn Walters and Dianne Walters of Tulsa; Her Brothers, Marcus Wayne Walters of Tullahassee, John Adam (Marsha) Walters, Jr and Robert Walters of Tulsa, and Perry Gwendolyn) Bruner of Muskogee; Three special in-laws, Teshonna Frazier-Walters of Okmulgee, Pamela Walters of Muskogee and Johnny Gibbs of Wagoner; A special Aunt Barbara Moore, Loving Aunt Mildred, a near and dear, Aunt Deborah Craven-Moss and special Cousin, Patricia Lucas. And a whole host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who loved her.

Ms. Denise Marshall, in her 64th year, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Her Hour of Remembrance will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the most holy sanctuary of Mount Bethel Baptist Church in Porter.  Reverend Steven Nunley, will officiate and Pastor Anthony Gaines is the Gracious Host Pastor.  Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery.
