Dennis Micheal Gross, affectionately known as “Cat Man,” received his rest after 66 years, 6 months and 27 days on Thursday evening, August 13, 2026 from his home in Muskogee.

Dennis was a man with a true talent for working with his hands and was known for being an amazing car detailer. He took pride in his work and had a gift for making a vehicle shine.

Dennis enjoyed some of life’s simplest and best pleasures—good music, good food, and time spent at family gatherings. Those who knew him will remember “Cat Man” in their own special way, through the stories, memories, laughter, and moments shared with him throughout his life.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Earlie Lee Gross and Cecil Marie Gross; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his brother, Stanley Gross; his sister, Carolyn Gross; and his son, Antonio.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Dennis (Raquinn) and Ashley Alcorn (Lawrence Faulk); and his grandchildren, Jazlynn and Jhase Portis, Nick, Emma, Evelyn, and Charlotte Alcorn.

He also leaves to cherish his memory his special sister-in-law, Kimberly Gross of Memphis; his uncle, Phint Gross of Muskogee; his nieces, Rhondrea and Kimisha Norwood of Memphis, and Brandy Gross of Muskogee; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alesia, Donell, Ashanti, T’iaira, Treyvon, Tyrelle, Alexis, Autrinique, and Denell; along with a caravan of other relatives and friends who will continue to carry his memory with them.

Dennis Micheal “Cat Man” Gross will be remembered for the life he lived, the work he took pride in, and the memories he leaves behind.

A Family Conducted Memorial Service to honor the life of Dennis will commence on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at The Eleventh Hour in the most holy sanctuary of St. Mark Baptist Church in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Rest peacefully, Cat Man. Your story lives on in those who remember you. We thank God for the life and memories of good times as we bid him farewell.
