One's Life Reflected......
On September 26, 1959 a baby boy was born to Leona Syas and Melvin Martin, Sr. They named him Dewayne Edward Martin. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Graduating from McClain High School Class of 1978.  The year 1977, Dewayne met the love of his life Lincille Thompson, which he later married in 1984. From this union Five beautiful children were born. In 1980 he went to work for the City of Tulsa Fire Department Station 23.  He was a dedicated worker until his retirement in 2000.  Dewayne was a loving husband, dad, brother, uncle, cousin, grandfather, and a good friend.
Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents Leona Syas and Melvin Martin, Sr. His brothers Owen, Richard, and Melvin Martin, Jr.  Those left to cherish his memories are; his wife Lincille Marin (Tulsa), his brothers: Alvin Jr., (Rose), Terry (Angie), Michael, and Chris Martin.   Four daughters Dewaynna Martin (Texas), Tamarian Martin (Tony) Texas, Charpelle Thompson (Tulsa), LaTasha Beauchamp (Tulsa), One son Marquis Beauchamp (Tammie), Eighteen Grandkids, Twelve Great-Grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Dewayne Edward Martin, age 60 closed his eyes for his eternal rest on September 10, 2020.  Dewayne is a retired Tulsa Fire Firefighter.  Graveside Services for Mr. Martin will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The casket will remain closed at the cemetery.  You may visit Mr. Martin on Thursday, September 17, 2020 as he slumbers between the hours of 12pm-6pm in our Tulsa Chapel.
