Don Edward Allen was born on March 3, 1953, to Douglas Joe Allen and Wilma Jean Chandler-Allen in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Don was the second child born to this union. Don received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Curtis Lynch in Sapulpa. Don later recommitted his heart to Christ in 1981. Don attended school in the Sapulpa school system. Don was as a good student and academically he excelled. Don loved to cook, and he was an excellent cook. Don took ride in his cooking and got great joy in cooking meals for his family. Don worked at Metro Diner for years for years. Don was known as one of the best cooks at Metro Diner. He enjoyed the comments that the customers made about the meals. The pride of Don's life are his five children: April Watson, Don Allen Jr., Yolanda Renae Allen (deceased), Kerry Scott (deceased), Tamiko Allen (deceased). Don was preceded in death by his Mother Wilma Jean Chandler-Allen, Father Douglas Joe Allen. Don leaves to cherish his memories: two brothers Douglas J. Allen Jr. (Chloe) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Earnest Lynch (Relisa) of Catoosa, Oklahoma, April Watson (Edward), Don Allen Jr and a Host of grandchildren: Meyousha Allen, Andreanna Brooks, Christopher Brooks, Tyrone Brooks Jr (deceased), Brittany Brooks and a host of loved ones including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial Services for Mr. Donald Allen, Sr. will be Friday September 10, 2021 at 11AM in the Tulsa Chapel.
