On November 13, 1948, in Vian, Oklahoma, a precious bundle of joy was delivered to Matthew Clark and Odessa Starnes. Their bundle of joy was a bouncing baby boy naming him Donald James Clark. Donald graduated from Vian High School with the Class of 1967.
Secularly, he drove for Tulsa Transit for numerous years. He also began his own Lawn Service that he continued until retirement. He was a member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ where he served as the local and district Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He was a devout Christian, Father, Papa, Neighbor and friend.
Donald James Clark, Sr. married Betty J. Price. Mrs. Betty J. Clark preceded him in death in April 2007.
On August 12, 2014, Mr. Donald James Clark, Sr. closed his eyes peacefully, now Eternally Resting. Remaining to cherish his precious memory: Children: Beauty E. Marks (Keith), Marilyn Gray Burns (Darius), Michell Clark , Shonta Clark (Melvin Collins) Donald James Clark, II, (LaKeesha), Philip E. Clark, Esther Durham, siblings: Leon Clark of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Loretta Williams, grandchildren: Anthony Wilson, Donta Wilson, Raylynn Clark, Alicia Clark, Keith Marks, Jr., Roman A. Marks, Jasmine Denee' Marks, Montae Collins, Zoey Collins, Donald Clark, III, Wisdom Clark, Donye' Burns, Makenzie Burns, D'Varius Burns, D'Kobe Burns along with a host of nieces and nephews

Services for Elder Donald James Clark, Sr. will be Saturday August 16, 2014 at 11AM at Lifeline Outreach Ministries in Tulsa.

Visitation will be Friday from 11AM until 7PM in Tulsa.
