Obituary

Mr. Donald Ray Harris, 39 passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On June 18, 1970, Willie & Martha Harris were blessed with a baby boy. They named their new bouncing baby boy Donald Ray Harris. He was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Don".

"Don" attended Tulsa McLain high school and graduated with the class of 1988. Soon after graduating he joined the United States Navy where he served his country proudly for 10 years.

Before receiving his honorable discharge from the Navy, he met the love of his life, Michele Brown. They were united in marriage in August of 1992. They were blessed with two children, Michael and Mia. He also fathered a son, Brian, whom he loved dearly as well.

After working and living in several countries and cities, he was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration in Albuquerque, New Mexico for nearly 10 years. While employed there he found his love for motorcycles and that's when he joined The Vicious Cycles Motorcycle Club. He treated them as if they were his second family.

"Don" leaves to cherish his precious memories: his wife of 17 years, Michele Harris. His sons Brian and Michael, his only daughter "princess" Mia, his mother and father, Martha & Willie Harris, his grandmother Amy Harris, sister Trina Harris, mother-in-law Mable Hickmon, sisters- in law: Lashona (Michael) Moore and Eva (S.D.) Hearn along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, co-workers, and his motorcycle club family.

Services will be Thursday June 17, 2010 at 10AM inside our All Faiths Chapel at 1414 North Norfolk Avenue in Tulsa. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12Noon to 7PM.
