Mr. Donald Ray Moore, in his 51st year, made his transition from Saint John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Donald Ray Moore was born in Beggs, Oklahoma on June 2, 1954 from the loving union of Leonard Moore and Mary [Peters] Moore.

Donald grew up in Beggs, where he attended the Beggs Public Schools. Donald was quite the athlete, where he played football and basketball. He graduated from Beggs High School with the Class of 1973.

He then matriculated to Missouri Southern University at Joplin, Missouri and later attended Langston University, Langston, Oklahoma. Mr. Moore resided in Texas for a short while and then returned to Oklahoma, where he made Tulsa his home.

Mr. Moore was an electrician for L 3 Communications and was married to the former Edith Dailey. He was also a member of Ressurection and Life Christian Church in Tulsa.

He leaves to lament his passing; his wife, Edith Moore, of the home in Tulsa, Oklahoma; his parents, Leonard and Mary Moore, Beggs, Oklahoma; his son, Albert Leon Moore, Beggs, Oklahoma; his daughters, Deandra Lynette Moore and Jessica Denise Moore, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his step-children, DeAndra Dunn, Kanitra Dunn and Tonnette Dunn, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a brother, Leonard Moore, Jr., Beggs, Oklahoma; a sister, Cheryl Irvin, Garland, Texas; three grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The funeral tribute will be on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Beggs Assembly of God Church. Pastor Troy Daniels will officiate. Burial will follow in New Post Oak Cemetery in Beggs.
