Obituary
Ms. Dorothy Lee Mobley, after 91 seasons of life, transitioned from life to eternity on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Better known as "Dottie" to family and friends, was born in Cherokee County, Oklahoma, the daughter of James H. and Verdia Ellen [Capps] Smith. She attended school there before moving to Muskogee, where she spent the majority of her life.
She was the owner and operator of Dottie's Lounge on South Main Street for many years, where she met many friends and established lifelong relationships. Dottie lived a simple life, enjoying special times with family and friends and will be missed by those who loved her.
She leaves to lament her death; her son, Ron Smith, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; her daughter, Terri King, Muskogee; her brother, J. C. [Bonnie] Smith, Muskogee; and her sisters, Georgia Williams and Sue Todd, both of Muskogee; 7 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Service of Memory for "Dottie" will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Pavilion in Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee.
You may visit her as she slumbers in sweet repose at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
