Dorothy Corley Beatty Washington began her course on February 6, 1940 the first child of the late C.B. Corley and Ivy Anderson Corley. She joined Rocky Ford Baptist Church as a child. She attended Rocky Ford School, and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Idabel, Oklahoma. She went on to cosmetology school in Oklahoma City where she received her license. She then worked at the State Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas before moving to Tulsa where she worked as a nurse's assistant for 20 years. She would later return to Idabel before finishing her course on July 21, 2008 in Tulsa. Dorothy was a wonderful, loving, kind and caring person. She attended Jones Temple in Idabel, OK for several years before her passing.

Corley, JR.(Betty), Tulsa, OK., Wendell Corley (Barbara) Idabel, OK., Billy Wayne Corley, San Diego, CA., Carl R. Corley, Portland, OR., 5 sisters: Geneva Walker (Albert) Wichita Falls, TX., Francis Johnson (James), Detroit, MI., Shirley Norris, Wichita Falls, TX., Ginger Matthews (John) Evelyn Andrews, McKinney, TX., Linda Vega (Gil) Oklahoma City, OK., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends, and acquaintances.
Services will be Saturday July 26, 2008 in Idabel at First Baptist Church West at 12Noon. Visitation will be Friday in Tulsa from 12Noon to 7PM.
