On the second day of August in 1954, a baby boy was born to Clifford Easiley, II and Lillian Ball-Easiley[Walters]. They named him Duwayne Fred Easiley. Duwayne accepted Christ at an early age and attended Miller Washington Elementary School and Porter High School.
Duwayne was very kind-hearted and generous. Better known as "Black Superman" by family and friends, he was borna comedian and always wnated to maky people laugh.
His desire to be a servant of the Lord was evident by the fact that he was attending Church regularly at Central Church of Christ in Amarillo, Texas.
His time with us came to a close on October 29, 2006 from the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents.
Remaining to wait on the Lord; his mother, Lillian Violet Walters, Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Veronica Easiley and Constance Grant, Amarillo, Texas; nine brothers, Wendell Easiley, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Clifford Easiley, Wichita, Kansas, Anthony Easiley, St. Louis, Missouri, Reginald Sharkey, Waco, Texas, Kenneth Ezell, Houston, Texas, Patrick Ezell, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anthony Easiley, Houston, Texas, Ivan Easiley, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Gerad EAsiley, Houston, Texas; along with a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services are scheduled for Friday, November 3, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church of Red Bird, Oklahoma. Reverend William Janey, the gracious host Pastor, and Brother Clifford Easily, will officiate. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma at 2:00 P.M.
