Reflections of
Earl Curtis Grayson
"Mugsy"
On March 9, 1936, in Haskell, Oklahoma, Roy and Corrien Grayson received a precious bundle of joy. Their joy was a bouncing baby boy they named Earl Curtis. Earl was one of 9 children and the oldest of 6 boys. Earl made a living being a laborer. He was not afraid of hard work. He tried to pass that philosophy on to his kids. Earl always would say "If you don't work for it, you don't deserve, it."
His parents, brothers Rayford, Raymond, Ennis, Richard, sisters, Gloretha, and a son Randall Lee preceded him in death. Earl leaves behind to cherish his memory: his children: Earl Junior, Terre Haute, IN., Kendall Wayne, Skiatook, OK., LaToya Nicole, Kansas City, KS, Tatiana Cherell, Kansas City, KS., Mario Curtis, Jacksonville, NC., Loretta, Curtis, Tracy, Earletta, Lisa Marie, Michael, and Dewayne, sisters: Pearline, LeeElla, and 1 brother, Clement. His will still continues through his grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, & friends.
Services will be Friday January 21, 2011 at 2PM at Lakeview Baptist Church located at 5480 W. Rogers Boulevard on Highway 20 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Thursday from 12Noon to 7PM in Tulsa.
