IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Earl
Jones
December 27, 1947 – June 4, 2017
The Life of an Awesome Guy
On December 27, 1947 Olivia and William was blessed with a gift from God with an anointed young baby boy. They named him Earl Lee Jones. Earl received his education from Tulsa Public Schools where he graduated with the Booker T. Washington Class of 1967.
He accepted Christ under the leadership of Glenn Tucker of No Greater Love Outreach Ministries in 2003.
Earl had the gift of giving that few people knew about, he had a compassion for people and served whole heartedly in all that he did. Whether it was helping with classes, cooking in which he enjoyed so much, or blessing the church whenever he was asked. He never turned the church down. He was most famously known for his fried cabbage and golden fried fish. His passion was in lawn service where he was very articulate in his work.
Earl was with his companion Rosiland Devers whom he truly respected, loved and cared for when he received notification that his mission was completed. On June 4, 2017, the angel of the Lord called him home. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
Those left to cherish his precious memories of his earthly life: his longtime companion Rosiland Devers, his daughters Mischelle and LeAnn, his son David, two sisters Donna and Lucinda, and a caravan of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
