On June 22, 1914, a bouncing boy was born to Antonio and Lawrence Thierry near Hoffman, Oklahoma. Earl was one of nine children.
His mother, father, first wife of nearly fifty years, Emily, step daughter, one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was christened a Catholic at a very early age and remained a devout Roman Catholic throughout his life.
As a young lad, Earl attended school in Grayson, Oklahoma. He did not speak much of his youth but he did speak fondly of his adventure of when he a caught a train to Chicago with people who were homeless.
He and Emily did not believe in a bank so they stored their money in a can to buy the farm near Boynton. He earned his livelihood throughout his life in various occupations such as farmer, cattleman and finally as crew chief at American Airlines until his retirement. His favorite hobby was gardening for he had quite the green thumb.
On Saturday, December 15, 2007, Earl was called home to be with his Savior. To cherish the memories of his life are Alberta, his loving wife of twenty six years, sisters Evelyn Todd, Helen Thompson, Kathryn Ware and Shirley Cawthorne, brothers C.A. and Raymond Goudeau, two sons James (Lucille) of Boynton, OK and, Johnny (Sharon) of Tulsa, OK, twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, a special niece-in-law, Constance Bruner and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and long time dear friends.
