On August 20, 1923, in Coweta, Oklahoma, a baby girl was born. Her name, Earline Malinda Pierson. Born into a Christian family, it was clear for Earline to establish a personal relationship with God and accept Christ as her personal Savior. She did just that at an early age and united with Jackson Grove Baptist Church in Coweta.
In 1946, at the urging of her family, she moved to Tulsa where she would unite with the Metropolitan Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her passing. Her mother, Carrie Hickman Pierson, brother W.T. Pierson, and son Michael Ray Blakemore preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to continue on in her legacy: her children, Iren Drew, Tulsa, OK., Margaret, Paul and LaWanda, Dallas, TX., and Glenn and Jackie Richardson, St. Louis, MO., her grandchildren: Crystal and Shemeasha Gardner, Shaletha and Bernard King, Christina, Paula, LaTonya and Glenn Richardson, II, Jessie Hardy, and Adrian Thornton, her great-grandchildren, Justyce Glenn, Moriah Housley, and Matia Richardson, a sister in law, Christena Pierson, niece Juanita Perry, step-son, John Willis Smith, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Richardson will be Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 10AM at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Tulsa. Visitation will be on Monday from 12Noon to 7PM on Monday.
