Ms. Easter LeBlanc, a resident of Okmulgee, in her 88th season of life, "dozed into Eternity" on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from Okmulgee.
On Sunday, April 20, 1924, a precious bundle of joy was delivered to Charles and Eyola Nonnette LeBlanc. The couple named her Easter LeBlanc. "Bobbie" as she was known, was the oldest of 3 siblings born to the union. Bobbie attended school in Okmulgee County, and graduated from Wheatley High School in Boynton, Oklahoma. She later moved to Oklahoma City where she was employed many years at Mercy Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and served on the Altar Society. Upon retirement, she returned to Okmulgee to be close to her family. She became a long time member of Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church. Easter "Bobbie" LeBlanc departed this life on Saturday November 17, 2012 at the age of 88. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, and her two brothers, Charles, JR., and Roy. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: six nephews, six nieces, one sister in-law, along with a host of other relatives, and friends.
Her Funeral Mass will Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 11AM at Uganda Martyr's Catholic Church in Okmulgee. Friends may visit Ms. LeBlanc on Tuesday from 12Noon until 7PM. Her Rosary will be at 7PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
