IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eddie Len
Trimble
April 20, 1954 – April 20, 2018
"Live & Let Live!!"
On April 20, 1954 in Oktaha, OK, Walter Sr. and Lavada Trimble celebrated the birth of a handsome baby boy that they named Eddie Len (lovingly referred to as "Len") - when he was smaller, his jaws were so big that his siblings called him "muffle jaws". Eddie attended St. Mark Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Theodore Hickerson.
Eddie attended Muskogee High School and graduated with the proud class of 1972. He then joined the United States Air Force following high school and proudly served his country until 1974. Eddie married his high school sweetheart, Lynnell Chamberlain (Mack), and from this union came the blessing of his first beautiful daughter, Angela Lynn (Tinkabell), this marriage dissolved but they remained the best of friends as they raised their daughter. After the dissolution of this marriage, Eddie met and married Pam Hooks and to this union his second beautiful daughter Tahlia Nicole was born. This union dissolved, and later Eddie met his companion for the past 20 years, Melba White, who remained by his side through his transition. Eddie resided in Texas for over 20+ years, but recently relocated back to Muskogee to be closer to his family.
Eddie had such a zest for life and loved his family with everything in him. During the course of his journey, you could always count on Eddie to be kind and offer tons of laughter! He was the fun son, brother, uncle, and friend who was always singing something in his own unique loud and boisterous voice (Caribbean Queen, One in a Million really loud) and if he was not singing familiar songs, he would make up silly songs that some of his family still remember and sing to this day (songs like bang, bang, spoon, spang). He was always cutting up, making his family smile and he will surely be missed by everyone who knew him!
After 64 blessed years, Eddie completed his last season on the same day that God blessed his entry into the world, April 20 - we can rest assured that Eddie knew the Lord as his personal savior and will rest in glory until we meet him again! Eddie was preceded in death by his father Walter Trimble, Sr.; 1 brother, Stanley Trimble; Maternal Grandparents Vollen, Sr. and Lillie Bell Golden; Paternal Grandparents Margaret Kimble and John Trimble; nephew Preston David Ferguson, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those who remain to celebrate his life and continue his legacy include his beloved mother, Lavada Trimble, Muskogee, OK; 2 beautiful daughters: Angela, Wichita, KS; Tahlia, Dallas, TX; Grandchildren: Cartrell and Ashton, Wichita, KS; Great Grandchildren: Kaylei, Caliyah, Ausansye, Auralynn, Rashaad; Siblings: Walter, Jr. (Dorethia), Porter, OK; Robert (Carletta), Tulsa, OK; Margaret (Kenneth), Muskogee, OK; JoAnn (Freddie), Muskogee, OK; Stanley (Sharryne), Austin, TX; Darlene, Muskogee, OK; Rae Gene; Mark, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
