Frazier Sr.
August 25, 1947 – April 8, 2020
Edward Eugene Frazier, Sr. was born on August 25, 1947 to the proud parents of Ellis Otto and Dorothy Neil (Stone) Frazier in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School where he excelled in Track & Field in 1965.
Ed joined the U.S. Army in April 1970. He served his country proudly. He was stationed in Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged and decorated in February 1972.
Ed had a great affection for animals. Throughout his life he owned all types of exotic livestock and dogs. He loved being a vendor at trail rides, cultural events and rodeos. He knew everyone and everyone knew him from the young to the young at heart. One of his favorite past-times was maintaining the grave-site of his hero, Bill Pickett.
Ed loved his friends and family. He was a pillar of strength and would give you the shirt off his back. If anyone needed anything, he was there to lend a helping hand. He was a wonderful and loving Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
Mr. Edward Eugene Frazier Sr., after 72 years, made his Peaceful Transition to Glory on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, from his home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
He leaves to cherish his memory his Brother Ellis Jr; Daughter Teshonna; Sons Edward Jr. and Brent; Daughter-In- Laws Christine and Ruby; Grandchildren Tony, Talana, Zoe, Zach and Brendaria; Nephews Ellis, Eric and Bryan; Niece Allis; Great Grandchildren Tre, Kai', Jax and Zander and a host of relatives and very special friends.
Committal Service has been scheduled for August 7th, 2020 at 10:30 AM in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
All attendees are required to wear a mask.
