On October 22, 1997 a baby boy was born to Deborah Hollingsworth and Edward Johnson. He was given the name Edward King Johnson (Eddie). He became the joy to everybody in the family. Eddie attended many daycares in Tulsa with the last being Robins Nest. Thank you Ms. Stacy, and Mr. Harry. He always wanted to visit you. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. He was baptized by the late Rev. Richard E. Walker. He was a member of the youth choir, usher board, and the Junior Deacons Training Program.
Eddie attended Tulsa Public Schools and was a graduate of Nathan Hale Jr. High School Class of 2012. He was currently a student at The Central High School Braves. There were many things that he loved in his life such as dressing sharp, anything peanut butter, black forest ham sandwiches from Subway, McDonalds McChicken with McSauce, shiny green lawnmowers, cooking, and talking. However, his true love was playing football. He played proudly for Nathan Hale Junior High School, and currently for Tulsa Central High School's Junior Varsity team. Thank you to all of his coaches for welcoming him.
On September 5, 2012, God came for his child, and he went peacefully. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandmother, Shirley Goff. She truly adored Eddie. He is survived by his mother, Deborah Hollingsworth, Tulsa, OK., brothers: DaRon Hollingsworth, South Odgen, UT., Terryn Johnson (Snap), Tulsa, OK., sister, Matekka Hollingsworth, Tulsa, OK., grandfather John Goff, Tulsa, OK., uncles: Lyndon "Coach" Goff (Kelly), Tulsa, OK., Terry Wayne Tuggle (Dee Dee), Okmulgee, OK., Anthony Hollingsworth, (friend Margaret) Tulsa, OK., Keith Goff (Toni), Dallas, TX., Godmothers: Florence Rex Stroud, Freddie Mae Strims, and Sis.
