Obituary

On December 11, 1960, Vincent R. and Cecilia P. [Pena] Gonzales celebrated the birth of a precious baby girl in El Paso, Texas. They named their new daughter Eilene.

Better known to her family as "Macha", Eilene grew up in West Texas before relocating to California. She spent time in California before moving to Oklahoma.

She was a fun-loving, socialite who enjoyed spending time with her friends and enjoying life to the fullest. She was humorous and heartwarming, personal, fun and enthusiastic.

Reflections by her family were shared as follows;

Brother, Ricky; she was quiet, but a fiery little sister-
Brother, Vincent Jr.; she was a warm-hearted, genuine sister-
Brother Robert; she was crazy but not a selfish sister-
Brother Danny; she was God's angel, a peaceful sister-
Sister Arlene; a beautiful, tall tom-boy-
Sister Rose; beautiful, strong, athletic and a mom to my children-
Sister Betty; an easy going, loving sister-
Sister Terry; my best friend, always looked out for me, caring, loving and devoted all of her efforts for her son, Matt. And wished I looked after her son.
Brother Leo; supportive, great prankster-
Brother Gabriel; wonderful, peaceful and caring-a mom to me-
Brother Joseph; will surely miss his big sister; she was a personal mother and guardian angel.
Dad; a great, beautiful big sister, very sports orientated, my little girl I will always remember her smile-
Mom; beautiful, kind and funny, never a dull moment with her-always doing practical jokes on everyone. She will miss and love her deeply.

On Thursday, November 29, 2007, after 46 seasons, Eilene Gonzales surrendered her soul. She leaves in God's care; her son, Matthew Gonzales, Muskogee, OKlahoma; her parents, Vincent R. and Cecilia P. Gonzales, Orange County, California; her brothers, Robert "Ricky", Vincent Jr., Robert, Daniel, Leo, Gabriel and Joseph; her sisters, Arlene, Rose, Beatrice "Betty", and Terry; her best friend forever, Candie; along with her co-workers from Muskogee Regional Medical Center, other relatives and friends who will miss her presence.

Service of Memory for Eilene will be on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Remembrance at the funeral home in Muskogee. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee.
