Elisha Shephard was born on May 10, 1944 to Alice Virginia Mackey and Alonzo George Shephard in Beggs, Oklahoma. He was the 5th child born to this union. Preceded in death by his mother at an early age, Elisha grew to be a successful young man.

Elisha retired after working 25 years in construction and plumbing. He loved playing and listening to music. "Shep" also enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, traveling, and tending to his garden.

Mr. Elisha Shephard was called home on Friday November 21, 2014. Elisha was preceded in death by five siblings: Rose Lee Shephard, George Shephard, Booker T. Shepard, Alonzo Shephard, and Ella Mae Shephard Byrd.

Remaining to cherish his precious memory: a devoted wife and friend of 33 years, Mrs. Carolyn "Curry" Shephard, two daughters: Wendy Shephard, and Monica Shephard, both of Tulsa, OK, and one grandson Dan Wallace, four siblings: Irene Hannah, Wichita, KS, Joanna Littlejohn, Tulsa, OK, Earle Shepard, Tulsa, OK, Leroy Shephard, Wichita, KS, brothers in-law: James Curry, Denver, OK, Walter L. Curry, Tulsa, OK, Bobby Joe Curry, Denver, CO, sister in-law, Listine Curry, Denver, OK

Services for Mr. Shephard will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Eleventh Hour in the All Faiths Chapel in Tulsa, OK. You may visit Mr. Shephard as he slumbers on Friday, November 28, 2014 between the hours of two and seven o'clock.
