On July 14, 1952, a precious bundle of joy was born to Joseph and Helen Willard Korne in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They named her Elizabeth Pauline Korne.

Also known as "Beth," she was a dedicated stay at home mother until she obtained her cosmetology license in 2003 and began teaching with a masters of cosmetology shortly after. She loved sewing, painting, and being with her family. Elizabeth Ward recently connected with her Sunday School group, "Walking in the Word" where she was making new friends and reconnecting with the Lord. Beth met a young man by the name of Randy Gene Ward, and married him on November 29, 1980 in Pryor, Oklahoma.

Her son Tab McElroy preceded her in death on November 5, 2009. The important people in Beth's life were her husband, Randy Ward, Tulsa, OK, son Tod McElroy (Dana), Augusta, GA, daughters: Sheena Williams (Dwight) and 4 children, Tulsa, OK, Katie Bell (Jeremy) and 2 children, Tulsa, OK, Rachel Bond (Josh) and 3 children, Tulsa, OK, siblings: Doug Korne (Kathy), and 2 children, Bend, OR, Kathy Tyler (Peggy), and special niece Jesse, Tulsa, OK. Beth also has 21 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, along with countless others too numerous to name. You all know who you are. Beth, you may be gone from this Earth, but you will never be forgotten. You will always be in our hearts.

Her memorial services will be on Thursday February 25, 2015 at 4PM at The Assembly located at 3500 W. New Orleans in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
