Elnita "Joyce" Prudom was born on August 13, 1953 to Wesley J. Prudom, Sr. and Loletha M. Prudom. Joyce graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1971 and later attended NEOSU in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Joyce worked for Git & Go Conveience Stores for many years. She later worked in food management which she loved and adored. Joyce loved to Bar-b-que and always had enought food to feed a mission.

Recently her health began to fail and God did not want her to suffer any longer. Our hearts are broken, but we must put our faith in God because he knows our every hurt and need. Joyce was preceded in death by her father in 1995.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Floyd Ruff; her mother, Loletha M. Prudom, Tulsa, OK., sister Beverly A. Carter, Ft. Worth, TX., a brother, Wesley J. Prudom, Jr.,(Peggy), Tulsa, OK., a niece, Jessica R. Carter, Ft. Worth, TX., a nephew, Wesley J. Prudom, III (Trey) Tulsa, OK., two uncles: Elmer Kennedy (Gwen) Okmulgee, OK., and Floyd Prudom (Willa), Tulsa, OK., four aunts: Alberta Sims, Beggs, OK., Wilma "Jean" Kirkpatrick (Irving), Jerri Prudom and Eran Prudom, Tulsa, OK., and a hosts of other relatives and friends.

Serivces for Ms. Prudom will be Saturday April 25, 2009 at 10AM inside the All Faiths Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 12Noon to 7PM.
