Mrs. Elnora Marie Ratliff, in her 87th year, went to Heaven on Tuesday morning, February 25, 2020 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Elnora Marie Ratliff was born on June 5, 1932 in Wagoner, Oklahoma, the daughter of Fred and Annie [Vealy] Williams.
Elnora was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend. She accepted Christ at an early age and began grammar school in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Later, she moved to Muskogee with her family, where she attended Langston Elementary School and graduated from the Historic Manual Training High School with the Class of 1957.
She worked as a domestic technician in both Muskogee and Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years. She made her home in Tulsa for over 37 years, providing for her family. Elnora returned to Muskogee in 2010, when her health began to decline. She enjoyed being pampered, spending time with her grandchildren, attending Church and visiting with her daughters. Elnora attended Antioch Temple of Hope in Muskogee, where you could catch her dancing, singing and praising every Sunday.
Loved ones who preceded her in death; her parents, Fred and Annie Williams; her son, Charles Pouncil; her son in law, Thomas Johnson, Sr.; her brothers, J. C. and Freddie Ray; her sisters, Mardella Nelson, Katherine Riggins, Castell PRat and Earlie Mae Thompson.
She leaves to lament, yet cherish her memories; her loving daughters, Cynthia Diggs, Marina Valley, California, Patricia Johns, Muskogee, Oklahoma, and a son, Stanley Watkins, Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Lisa, Stephanie, Thomas, Darrius, Stanley, Tont'e and Anthony; twenty great-grandchildren; and a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her Sacred Farewell will commence on Tuesday morning, March 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the most Holy sanctuary of the Antioch Temple of Hope Church, 500 West Broadway Avenue in Muskogee. Burial will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee.
