Mrs. Elrena Grant, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. dozed into everlasting on Friday morning, June 25, 2010 from a Tulsa Hospital.


On March 14, 1927, a precious bundle of joy was delivered to Dorthula and Cleveland Johns. That bundle of joy was sweet baby girl. They named her Elrena. Elrena attended school in Tallahassee, Oklahoma. She met her husband, Mr. Lawyer C. Grant, and this union produced one child, Lawyer C. Grant, Jr.

Elrena found the Lord and was baptized at an early age and served the Lord faithfully. She was a member of City of Refuge under the leadership of Elder K. Watson. Her parents, one brother, two sisters, and three half sisters preceded her in death.

Remaining to cherish her precious memories: her son, Lawyer C. Grant, Jr., her daughter in-law, Winnie, three grand daughters: Sheliah, Sherry, and Marian, 5 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Xavier, Angela, Queen, and Buju, one sister, Jeraldine Allen, and brother, Herbert Lee Johns, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services are set for Thursday July 1, 2010 at Clarksville Cemetery in Clarksville, Oklahoma at 10AM.
