IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elsie Lorane
Ruff-Mckinney
June 19, 1966 – August 9, 2017
A reflection of life
Precious memories unfolded when God sent his Angel on August 09, 2017; to carry Elsie Lorane Ruff - McKinney home to eternal peace. Elsie was born on June 19, 1966; to Elsie and Carl Ruff Sr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At an early age Elsie professed Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was fourth of ten children, and attended Tulsa and Sand Springs public schools. To all those that knew and loved her she was affectionately known as "Little Elsie."
In the early 90's she united in marriage to Patrick Mckinney. This union lasted for fifteen years. She enjoyed fishing, taking photographs, designing T- Shirts, gardening, spending time with family and friend, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Elsie's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood the quality of existence far exceeds the quality of time in which one lives. She had a loving and gentle heart, and always willing to give to other. Elsie never met a stranger and was known for helping anyone she came in contact with. She cared deeply for her family and friends and continued to love and pour into their lives until last day.
She was called to be reunited with her parents Elsie and Carl Ruff Sr, her brother Carl "Mushy" Ruff, her aunts Dorothy Mae Wilson, Mary Hackney, niece, nephew, and many uncles, cousins that went before her. Because she was loved she will be greatly missed and her many memories and legacy will be cherished forever by her three children, Miesha (daughter), Marvail (son), and Monty (son), and three grandchildren Amari, Marvail Jr, and Markayla. Sisters: Carla (Darrell) Martin, Carol Ruff, Carletta (Curtis) Eckwood, and Carmelita Ruff; Brothers: Carlanda (Trevia), Carlos (Renee) of Houston, TX, Carlton (Lakietra) Cardell, Monique and Aaron Woolridge. A special friend Rick Frank, extended family The McKinney's, and a host of nieces and nephews and other living relatives and friends.
