Obituary

Elvernon Leroy White, Jr. (Stinky) was born to Elvernon L. White Sr. and Camilla A. White on June 7, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Elvernon received his formal education through the Tulsa Public School System graduating from Raymond S. McLain High School in 1988. He was the proud member of the McLain "Fighting Scots" football champion of 1986 & 1987.

He loved football and Children. He spent many days admonishing young men by coaching football at Lewis & Clark Middle School and also the TYAA "Bulldogs" – 1st grade Mighty-Mites Blue Team.

Elvernon accepted Christ at an early age under the pastorate of the late Dr. L.L. Tisdale. He served as a deacon and sound man at Latter House Family Outreach Ministries under the pastorate of Apostle Jay R. Oates, Sr. he was also a member of the Men Positioned for Purpose mens group, which he loved and would not miss.

Preceding Elvernon in death was his father, Elvernon White, Sr. and his son Derek (Dough-boy) Russell.

Elvernon leaves to celebrate his crossing over, his mother Camilla White; his children, Xiniqua White, Chericka White, Derrian Young and Elvernon L. White, III; his grandson, Brylen Beeks; his siblings; Harold (Renna) White, Teresa A. Barnett, Shauna L. White, his niece; Camilla Shaw and a host of family and friends.

The Services for Mr. Elvernon, Leroy White, Jr. will commence on Saturday November 10, 2012 at 11AM at World Won for Christ in Tulsa. Friends may visit Mr. White on Friday from 10AM until 6PM, followed by a wake from 6PM until 8PM in Tulsa.
